Hand Painted Fabrics
I have developed a vibrant, imaginative range which include salt effects, metallics, crackles, rainbows, sea & sky backgrounds and fantasy. Flesh coloured fabrics for dolls and bears, from rose through to dark brown, are also available.
All fabrics are 100% cotton and fully washable and colourfast.

Graduation Fabrics
Graduation fabrics are great for backgrounds for a special appliqué or a intense pencil design. Minimum cut is 1/2 meter lengths. Available in different colours combinations. Colours shown are lime violet magenta. Purple turquoise blue.

Rainbow Fabrics
Rainbow fabrics are a beautiful array of colours and vary in depth and colours. Minimum cut is 1/2 meter lengths. Rainbows come in plain or salt. Dyed in quilters muslin 150cm wide.
15.50 or $8.00 per 1/4 meter.
Whole cloths are ideal for quilt centers that you can use for ink tense pencil design.

Embelishment Packs
all laces and ribbons have arrived and I have embellishment packs for $AUD 9.50. These are great value – a mix of beautifully coloured bows, organza lace, gruipe` flowers, ribbon etc. I also have coloured small and large lace butterflies, 1 meter lengths of organza rose lace and rick rack. They are ideal for crazy patchwork, quilts, dolls and embellishments. Huge variety of colours. These packs contain around 50 bows of 5 different styles, gruipe`roses. These packs are good value.

Both Flower Garden and Poppy's are beautiful wall hanging/quilt centers and are achieved by free hand machining, inktense pencil and crayon. This technique is wonderful to learn and be be used in many areas in quilt and fabric art.

Dala Paints
Dala Paints are water based, non toxic fabric paint with remarkable colorfastness. Dala paints are a transparent paint and are used like a dye. They can be mixed together to get a beautiful array of colours and depths. They are very user friendly and use very little water. Fabrics can be ironed to heatset making them washable. Dala also produces a range of mediums including opaque, thickener (to be able to use for hand painting) cold cure medium(synthetics)and fabric extender.

Hi Strike Fabric Paint/Dye
Hi Strike is an Australian product and has a smooth texture and is very user friendly. It can be diluted to use as a dye bath or used directly onto fabric with brush or sponge. All colours can be mixed together. They are great for heliography or sun printing. They are available in 200ml size and cost is $9. |
Sunshine Coast and South East Qld Workshops
Join a Fabric painting/Mixed Media workshop on the Sunshine Coast or get some friends together and I will come to you in the South East Qld region. A one day workshop is all you need to get started to create some beautiful fabrics for your next creation. You will learn how to mix paint and apply to get many special effects for example crackle, salts,masking, vegetal resists, tye dying, folding and using mediums to achieve different effects. I also teach techniques for mixed media as well as fabric painting. A workshop can be designed to suit both.
